This South Tampa pool home had a tired gray shingle roof with patch repairs in mismatched colors, and an existing metal patio roof out back. The homeowner wanted the whole house in metal. Armando's crew tore it off, found and replaced 17 sheets of rotted plywood, wrapped the deck in underlayment and installed a mill finish Galvalume ribbed metal roof in two days.
Inspected January 11; tear-off and metal install over two days, January 25 and 26.

What we found
- ✕Worn gray 3-tab shingles with patch repairs in visibly mismatched colors
- ✕Rotted roof decking that only showed once the old roof came off: 17 sheets of plywood needed replacing
- ✕A low 3/12 pitch where a metal roof sheds water better than aging shingles
What we did
- ✓Tore off the shingle roof to the deck and replaced every rotted sheet of plywood
- ✓Wrapped the full deck in underlayment and installed new drip edge
- ✓Installed 26 gauge Galvalume ribbed panels with fasteners on the specified pattern, plus new hip and ridge trim
- ✓Cleaned up the site and hauled away all debris
