This New Tampa home has a lot of low-slope roof: the covered porch over the garage, the low roofs across the front, and a long rear patio roof that runs beside the pool cage. Rather than shingle those low pitches, we replaced the main roof with architectural shingles and installed matte black standing seam metal on every low section. Armando's crew handled both systems, so the metal and shingles tie together at every wall and transition.

What we found
- ✕Several low-pitch roof sections (garage porch, front low roofs, rear patio roof) that are hard on shingles
- ✕A rear patio roof tight against the pool cage, with debris collecting along the eave and gutter line
- ✕A large main roof that needed replacing at the same time, so both systems had to be planned together
What we did
- ✓Tore off the old roofing and dried in the whole home before any panels went on
- ✓Installed matte black standing seam metal on the garage porch, the front low roofs and the rear patio roof
- ✓Replaced the main roof with architectural shingles and flashed every metal to shingle and metal to wall transition
- ✓Worked around the pool cage and patio without disturbing the screen enclosure
- ✓Cleaned up the site and hauled away all debris
